We work within the authentic traditional Brazilian cuisine, but interpret the great classics, fashioning them with a slight twist of originality using fresh and sustainable seasonal ingredients. Each dish is inspired by our Brazilian heritage, our travels and over 30 years as a executive professional chef. We have fun incorporating not-so-common and traditional ingredients that we hope can bring you a new exciting experience with flavors from the Brazilian cultures.

Inspired by her father, a restaurateur in the state of Minas Gerais, Samira feels it is important to use Brazilian ingredients in her cuisine bringing memories of the country’s unique flavors to the world stage. To that end, Samira is always working on something new and special, expressing her personality through these native ingredients. She believes in the transformative power of food, using it as a tool to inspire and unite people. Through her innovative talents, Samira’s career was established in New York, embracing the different cultures and linking them to her own. In recognition of her achievements, she has been featured four times in the book “Best Chefs of New York”. With an unequal charisma and tenacity for excellence, Samira enchants you across the culinary landscapes with good energy, good steaks, good stews and good will.

Our cuisine starts with the freshest local ingredients. It’s important for us, and better for you. We strive to provide you with the best local, seasonal and preferably organic products available. We use USDA Prime organic meats, fresh-caught seafood and eggs from Free Range chickens. We buy from top suppliers; organic farmers, fishmongers, and the best butchers available.
